'No Terror Links' For Two Men Arrested Outside Barracks
Two men have been released after being arrested for "acting suspiciously" outside Victoria Barracks, Windsor.
Police say there are no links to terrorism after a car was left unattended outside the barracks.
Thames Valley Police were called on Sheet Street on Wednesday night where the two suspects were detained.
A police spokeswoman said:
"Shortly before 9pm last night officers were called to an incident at the barracks on Sheet Street where two men were reported to have been acting suspiciously.
"Both men, in their 30s, were subsequently arrested. Earlier today they were released without charge.
"The incident has been determined to have no links to terrorism."
The 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards are based in Victoria Barracks.
