Parents' Emotional Appeal On Anniversary Of Murder Near RAF Base
The parents of murdered teenager Christina Menzies, who was found 24 years ago today, have made an emotional appeal for help on the BBC 'Crimewatch Roadshow' programme.
The Scottish teenager had been strangled and her body was dumped in undergrowth near RAF Gutersloh Station in Germany on June 13, 1993.
They also used the programme to appeal nationally for information for the first time, after carrying out a review of the case which concluded that there are grounds for re-investigation.
Ahead of the programme this morning they spoke exclusively to Forces News.
Christina's parents, who appeared on the programme, hope someone living at, or near the RAF base at the time will come forward with vital information.
