On the eve of the Conservative Party Conference, the Prime Minister has been speaking about the closure of RAF Scampton, home of the Red Arrows.

The base is set to close by 2022 and talks are underway to move the RAF Aerobatic Team to another location.

But speaking to BBC Radio Lincolnshire, Theresa May refused to be drawn on where the Red Arrows new home would be located.

"You'll have to wait and see where the new home is going to be."

Last week Jeremy Corbyn told his party conference that a Labour government would keep the Lincolnshire base open.

A campaign is underway aimed at convincing the Ministry of Defence to reconsider the closure and sale of RAF Scampton.
