£21 Million Extra Funding To Help Security In Somalia

The UK's announced further financial help in improving security in Somalia.

21 million pounds is being spent to help integrate regional and federal forces.

The MOD says this is on top of training already underway by British Military personnel.

A government statement added:

Somalia will continue to need substantial support across security, political reform and economic and social development to secure and build on the progress it has made over the last five years.
