Queen’s Royal Hussars Take On Exercise Sabre Junction 17

The Queen’s Royal Hussars have taken their Challenger 2 tanks to the forests of Bavaria.

It’s a rare training opportunity to fight simulated battles and operate tanks in densely wooded areas.

The US-led Exercise Sabre Junction 17 involves 4,500 soldiers from 13 countries.

The Queen’s Royal Hussars have sent around 400 soldiers to Bavaria.

As part of a High Readiness Brigade, the Queen’s Royal Hussars are on standby for any operations.

The training in south Germany gives extra experience to a unit that remains ready to go.
