They finished at half-past-three in the morning after a 3143 mile pedal-powered dash across the United State of America, breaking records along the way.
Every member of the eight man Help for Heroes team is a wounded or injured ex-servicemen, and Josh Boggi became the first triple amputee to complete the epic course using his hand-cycle.

Coasting down 'The Glass Elevator' gave the riders a welcome break. It's one of the long stretches of downhill road you can come across. They made up for it by climbing a total of 170,000 feet during the journey.
Riding into the dawn through Monument Valley, made famous in many a Western movie, was another of the trip's highlights.

From Oceanside in California across 13 states to the finish in Maryland the team averaged over 20 miles an hour and finished eighth out of the 87 starters.
