Red Devils Take To The Skies To Honour Former Paratrooper

The Red Devils have honoured a former paratrooper, Stan Saunders, in the best possible way, by donning their distinctive red jumpsuits and jumping with him - one last time.

The parachute display team and members of the Maidstone Parachute Regiment Association gathered at Netheravon Airfield, despite the morning's bad weather, to pay their respects to Stan Saunders.

Family, friends and those who had served with Stan came to observe. Ray Quick, member of Maidstone Parachute Regt Association said:

"He was a para all the way through, if he was down here now watching it - which he wouldn't be I know - he would be very proud."
