Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Mark 75th Anniversary
Almost 500 Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers have been on parade at their new base, MoD Lyneham to mark the corp's seventy-fifth anniversary.
The Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers have supported the army across the world since 1942 maintaining everything from rifles to Challenger 2 tanks.
An open day was hosted at MoD Lyneham at the same time with 10,000 people on the former air base.
Having rehearsed day after day in the rain, they now had the other extreme, with the temperature reaching 28 degrees.
Throughout the year the corps is holding several more celebrations to mark the milestone.
