Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Compete To Be Top Of Their Regiment

Soldiers from the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards have been competing in a series of sports to win the Moncrieff Shield

The annual event involves all four squadrons from the regiment facing each other in football, rugby, cross country, hockey and tug-of-war. One of the participants said:

"There's a healthy rivalry between all of us at every level"

The competition was devised to help build teamwork within the regiment.

It's a chance for all the participants to have a competitive, sporting opportunity against one other.

The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards HQ squadron were the overall winners over A, B and C squadron to win the Moncrieff Shield.
