Russian Military Shows Off New Stealth Fighter Jet

The Russian Defence Ministry has released footage of their new Su-57 5-generation air complex in action in Syria

According to the Defence Ministry, the Su-57 crews made over 10 sorties in the country.

The flights were carried out in order to confirm the declared capabilities of the newest aircraft in a real combat environment.

During the sorties, pilots checked aircraft performances, the smart data management system and the operation of on-board systems, including armament at high temperatures.

The Russian Defence Ministry said that the Su-57 is "designed for [the] elimination of all types of air, ground and maritime targets:

"It [has] high maneuverability, supersonic capabilities as well as modern on-board systems and stealth capability provides high efficiency and air superiority."
