WATCH: Russian Troops Practice Parachuting In Virtual Setting
Russia’s Ministry of Defence has released footage of its troops being trained to parachute jump.
Troops are put through their paces by a simulator, located in the city of Ryazan.
They are strapped into harnesses, which then winch them a few feet above the ground, and use virtual reality headsets to simulate a training environment.
