Size Matters: Trump Tells North Korea His Nuclear Button Is 'Bigger And More Powerful'

US President Donald Trump has tweeted that he has a "much bigger" and "more powerful" nuclear button than North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's.

Mr Trump’s latest comment in an ongoing feud between the two leaders came after Kim Jong Un said earlier this week that he has a "nuclear button… always on my table".

North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!

The US president’s tweet garnered much criticism on social media, with journalists who have been in the Oval Office taking a more light-hearted approach to the story.

The tweet about the "nuclear button" marked the end of a day’s activity on the US President’s account, in which he took credit for a lack of airplane crashes, announced awards for "Fake News Media", and threatened to pull aid from Palestinians.
