Tens Of Thousands Of Bikers Honour War Dead On Memorial Day

Tens of thousands of motorcyclists have ridden through the heart of Washington DC in an annual "Rolling Thunder" tribute to US military veterans and war dead.
The Rolling Thunder movement - which takes its name from the noise the bikes make - was founded in 1988 by a Vietnam War veteran who wanted to draw attention to American soldiers missing in Vietnam since it ended in 1975.
It now signifies solidarity with the veterans of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
May 29th is Memorial Day in the United States.
The federal holiday in the US remembers the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces.
