73 Years On: British Dam Buster Shares Memories

The last surviving British crewman to take part in the 'Dambusters' raid has been sharing his memories to mark its 73rd anniversary.

As part of Operation Chastise the RAF's 617 Squadron used the 'bouncing bomb' to breach two German dams and damage another.

It was then immortalised in a 1955 film starring Richard Todd, 'The Dam Busters'.

And 73 years on, George "Johnny" Johnson told Forces TV he still has vivid memories of that night.
