UK Seals Deal On Next Generation Of Spy Planes

The Ministry of Defence has confirmed a deal to purchase nine P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) for the Royal Air Force.

It's estimated the defence deal for the new generation of spy planes will cost Britain £3 billion over the next decade.

Rather than domestically building a new form of aircraft the government are buying off the shelf from Boeing, with each airframe costing over £100 million.
