Troops, Veterans And Residents Mark Falklands Anniversary

More than 200 residents of the Falkland Islands, along with members of the Armed Forces have held a ceremony marking the 35th anniversary of British troops landing to re-take the territory from Argentina.

A ceremony was held at Blue Beach cemetery, where respects were paid to those who served, and those who died.

Among the serving forces at the ceremony were members of B company, 3rd Battalion the Parachute Regiment.

"Everybody in the Parachute Regiment is familiar with the part they played in the Falklands War"
