TV Garden Make-Over For Harry's 'Real Hero'

ITV is kicking off the start of a new series of Love Your Garden by heading to Plymouth to create a show-stopping contemporary garden for an outstanding ex-Marine, Mark Ormrod, 36, and his young family.
He lost both his legs and an arm in Afghanistan in an IED incident, but Mark made a remarkable recovery and has become an inspiration to injured veterans everywhere.

Mark hit the headlines after he was flown back from Afghanistan on the same aircraft that brought Prince Harry home at the end of his deployment.
His 40 Commando colleague Ben McBean, who also lost both legs in a separate incident, was also on the flight.
When the helicopter pilot Prince was asked what it was like to return a hero he told the world's press that Mark and Ben were the 'real heroes'.
His friends and colleagues asked Alan Titchmarsh and his team to help create the outdoor space he desperately needs so he can play safely with his children and enjoy time together as a family.
Although he thinks nothing of going out of his way for others, his run down, uninviting garden has remained a challenge too far.

Transforming the Ormrods plot was a huge challenge but Alan, Katie, Frances and David managed to create a spectacular contemporary garden.
They've showed how lush tropical planting can work brilliantly in a low maintenance garden and finished it with clever ideas and features they're sure you’ll want to try at home.

'Love Your Garden' is on ITV at 20:00(BST) tonight (Wednesday 21st July) and available later on the ITV Hub catch-up service.
