A selection of artwork believed to have been painted by Adolf Hitler will be put up for sale next week.

The works will be auctioned by Mullock's Auctioneers from Shropshire.

The collection includes four paintings signed by the Nazi leader, plus a fifth unsigned work showing the grave of Hitler's niece, Geli Raubel - although it is impossible to confirm its creator's identity for sure.

The other pieces depict a vase of flowers, a clock and some fruit, a bouquet of flowers and street scenes around Austria.

All five paintings are up for auction at a guide price of £5,000 - £7,000.

It comes as court in Austria ruled that the government does not have the right to seize the house Adolf Hitler was born in.

Last December a law was passed allowing the property to be taken from its current owner - a ruling that was challenged in court.

The paintings attributed to the Nazi leader will be auctioned by Mullock's as part of a historical documents and military artifacts collection on 6 July at 10:30am, listed under lots 571-575.
