WATCH: Fearless female sniper dodges IS bullet

A female Kurdish sniper has been filmed cheating death, after an Islamic State (IS) bullet just missed her head.

The fighter is part of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), who are currently engaged in the fight for Raqqa in Syria.

The young woman is filmed laughing after the incident, before telling those with her: "Enough, enough filming."

Journalist Hemze Hamza, who posted the clip on Twitter, wrote: "Sniper battle inside Raqqa city. Thank god the ISIS terrorist missed", before adding:

"Kurdish women know no fear. Your average human being would be scared for life after being so close to death but she kept laughing."

Kurdish and Syrian forces, backed by a US-led coalition, are currently trying to force IS out of its self-proclaimed 'capital'.
