WATCH: 'Operation That Killed Bin Laden Wasn't Most Challenging'
"Every soldier, sailor, airman and marine who ever served in the military first learned how to make their bed correctly."
That's the motto of Retired Admiral William McRaven who had an esteemed 37-year military career.
It is a career that most famously includes leading the mission to capture Osama Bin Laden.
He has served as commander of Joint Special Operations Command, Special Operations Command Europe and finally as the ninth commander of the United States Special Operations Command for three years.
To say he quite literally wrote the book on Special Operations is no exaggeration – his 1995 book on the subject is considered the ‘standard text’ in this field.
As well as leading operation Neptune Spear leading to the assassination of Bin Laden, he also led the task force which tracked down Saddam Hussein in 2003.
Now, Admiral Bill McRaven is sharing his experiences in ‘Make your Bed’, a book designed to help others face life’s challenges and maybe even change the world.
