Watch: Firing the missile protecting UK's aircraft carriers

A Royal Navy Wildcat helicopter has tested a new missile while deployed with the UK's Carrier Strike Group (CSG21).

The Martlet missile system is designed to protect the Navy's Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers from attack by small boats.

It is the first time the weapon has been fired during frontline operations, according to the Navy.
