Woman Charged With Assisting Offender After Former Royal Navy Officer Killed By Own Car

A woman has been charged with assisting an offender after the death of a former Royal Navy officer who was run over with his own car.
Mike Samwell, 35, was run over trying to stop thieves stealing his Audi car following a break-in at his home in Manchester, in April.
He was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
Greater Manchester Police said Stacey Hughes, 28, of Steven Court, Chorlton, had been bailed to appear before Manchester Magistrates' Court on July 6.
Ryan Gibbons, 29, has already been charged with Mr Samwell's murder in the early hours of April 23.
Raymond Davies, 21, is charged with manslaughter, burglary and aggravated vehicle taking.
