
New Appointment At The Ministry Of Defence In Cabinet Reshuffle

Guto Bebb has been appointed as a Defence Minister in the cabinet following Harriett Baldwin's departure from the role.
He moves from the Wales Office to become a junior minister at the Ministry of Defence.
Bebb has been the MP for Aberconwy since 2010 and was Conservative Party whip.

Harriett Baldwin MP has left her defence position in the cabinet, after being appointed the new Minister of State for International Development, replacing former Infantry Officer Rory Stewart.
The West Worcestershire MP leaves her post as Defence Procurement Minister - a position she had held since July 2016 as part of Prime Minister Theresa May's cabinet reshuffle.
Mrs Baldwin's job in the Ministry of Defence is to date her only defence role in the government, but has previously represented the UK in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
She was first elected as an MP in 2010, and prior to her political career worked for 20 years in finance.
