In pictures: Princess Anne joins the King's Royal Hussars on Exercise Iron Cyclone
The King's Royal Hussars were joined by their Colonel-in-Chief, the Princess Royal, as they exercised on Salisbury Plain Training Area during Exercise Iron Cyclone.
A four-week training exercise, Ex Iron Cyclone was conducted as part of the regiment's training progression towards deploying on Op Cabrit 19 in September.
During her two-hour visit, Princess Anne visited specialist stands displaying equipment that the KRH use, was briefed on the CEMA (Cyber Electro Magnetic Activity) capability which the regiment is trialling for the rest of the Field Army and was updated on the KRH's activities since her last visit in 2024.

CEMA brings together electronic warfare, cyber operations, and spectrum management with the goal of gathering information about the enemy, disrupt their plans, and keep friendly forces safe.
The King's Royal Hussars is an armoured regiment with an illustrious history and great cavalry traditions. The regiment is equipped with the Challenger 2 main battle tank and the Warrior infantry fighting vehicle.
