Princess Royal honours 100 years of Royal Australian Corps of Signals during visit down under

The Princess Royal has marked the 100th anniversary of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals with commemorative events across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

As Colonel-in-Chief of the corps, Princess Anne took part in the Centenary Parade at Victoria Barracks, visited Simpson Barracks, and attended a Centenary Reception at Government House Melbourne.

The visit also included national remembrance events, with the Princess laying wreaths at the Anzac Memorial in Sydney and during the Remembrance Day Ceremony at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane.

Princess Anne is accompanied on the visit by her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.

After a busy schedule of military engagements, the couple are heading to Singapore, rounding off a tour that's seen Princess Anne at the heart of Commonwealth remembrance commemorations.
