The UK Armed Forces have served Queen Elizabeth II one last time by playing a pivotal role in the funeral of their former Commander-in-Chief.

More than 3,000 members of the Armed Forces were involved in ceremonial duties in London, including lining the streets and taking part in the processions.

More than 1,000 personnel also took part in ceremonial duties in Windsor where the Queen's coffin has been lowered into the Royal Vault at St George's Chapel.
