Ukrainian troop concentrations targeted by mass Russian drone and missile strikes

Russia has launched dozens of drones and multiple missiles against Ukraine during an overnight attack in several regions.
Two Iskander-M ballistic missiles were reportedly launched against the Poltava and Odesa regions and two Kh-59 guided air missiles targeted the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, strikes have been launched against the Sumy region, as well as various other locations where Ukrainian troops are concentrated.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said: "This week alone, Russians have used around 900 guided aerial bombs, over 40 missiles, and 400 strike drones of various types against Ukraine.
"No nation should have to endure such trials alone.
"Our partners have the ability to provide the necessary quantity and quality of air defense systems, make decisions for our sufficient long-range capabilities, and ensure the timely delivery of defensive aid to our troops.
"Time must not be wasted – a clear signal of resolve must be sent.
"We are working tirelessly to secure the means for Ukraine to fully respond to Russian terror."
These latest strikes were launched against Ukrainian units, with Moscow claiming to have inflicted hundreds of casualties against their Armed Forces.
The Russian MOD wrote on Telegram: "Operational-Tactical Aviation and Missile Troops have carried out strikes against concentration areas in Sumy region and reserves of 21st, 47th, 61st, and 115th mechanised brigades, 80th, and 95th air assault brigades, the 36th Marine Brigade, the 1st Brigade of the National Guard as well as 103rd and 117th territorial defence brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Eight AFU servicemen surrendered.
"In total, the enemy lost more than 22,600 servicemen, 157 tanks, 72 infantry fighting vehicles, 98 armoured personnel carriers, and 909 armoured fighting vehicles.
