2 RIFLES Train in Cyprus Before Afghan Tour
Members of the 2nd Battalion, The Rifles have been taking part in some final training in Cyprus ahead of their six month tour in Afghanistan.
The battalion will soon be providing force protection in Kabul supporting personnel at Camp Soutar and the Afghan National Army Officer Academy in the Capital.
They left Northern Ireland last week, using Cyprus as a chance to refresh and acclimatise before they arrive in theatre.
