5 RIFLES Say Farewell To Germany
The 5th Battalion The Rifles has bid farewell to Paderborn, Germany, which has been its home since 2007.
5 RIFLES will move to Bulford Camp in the UK as part of the Army 2020 restructuring.
On their final parade the battalion was inspected by their Royal Colonel, Her Royal Highness the Countess of Wessex.
After the inspection a Royal Salute was carried out to HRH the Countess of Wessex and 5 RIFLES were awarded with the German Fahnenband, or ribbon of honour.
