Army Amateur Boxer Turns Pro
He may have his Royal Regiment of Scotland tartan on, but army boxer Corporal Shaun Dick is preparing to take his moves to civvy street.
The 4 Scots soldier has been training for his first professional fight in Glasgow.
"This is probably the most disciplined sport of all. You have to diet, you can't drink. It's a very lonely sport at times. But it's fantastic for the regiment to encourage it because in my eyes, it's the best sport to be involved in."
The 31-year-old, who has served in Northern Ireland, Iraq, and Afghanistan, was inspired to turn pro by the Carl Frampton fight earlier this year.
Supported by his regiment, he'll fight for the Hayfield Boxing Club as a lightweight.
