Army Barracks Celebrates £150m Investment

With the relocation of thousands of troops from Germany back to the UK well under way, Beacon Barracks in Staffordshire has become one of the main British army bases.

The MOD has invested £150m to build new homes in Stafford for soldiers and their families returning from Germany.

The contract has seen the construction of 346 homes for soldiers based at Beacon Barracks.

The British Army’s BORONA Programme is tasked with the relocation of 1 and 16 Signal Regiments from Germany following the drawdown.
