Battle Ready And Fit To Fight

Troops from 1st Battalion the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment (1 LANCS) have been in Cyprus for six months.

1 LANCS took over the role of Resident Infantry Battalion from 2 YORKS.

As the resident infantry battalion they have to maintain a constant state of readiness.

With the end of operations in Afghanistan, exercises like these have become vitally important.

Simon Newton joined them on exercise as they practised a fire team attack.
