Cadets Enjoy Exhilarating Half Term Thanks To Army Air Corps

A group of cadets from Merseyside have spent their half term visiting 9 Regiment Army Air Corps.

The cadets travelled across the country to Dishforth, to get a flavour of what life is really like in the Army's flying elite.

After a detailed look at the onboard kit on the ground, the cadets prepared to take to the skies.

The cadets are some of the last people to fly with 9 Army Air Corps. In just a few months time, the regiment will be disbanded.

Sadly the sight of a Lynx Helicopter in the skies above North Yorkshire will soon become a thing of the past.
