A country estate in North Yorkshire has been delving into its archives to uncover the role it played in caring for wounded soldiers during the First World War.
 
Hovingham Hall was among the many stately homes across Britain to be transformed into emergency hospitals during the conflict.
 
Hannah King went along to find out more from the head of the Hovingham household.
