Tank rescuers tackle challenges and complex issues on the job in Exercise Iron Challenge

REME personnel have been taking their specialist skills to the next level during a three-week training course.

Held at Longmoor and Bordon training areas in Hampshire, the 250 REME recovery engineers operate in workshops, fabricating everything from latches to bar armour. 

Personnel have also been using powerful Challenger armoured repair and recovery vehicles (CRARRV) to learn how to recover vehicles in challenging situations.
