Forgotten Voices of the Great War

Military historian and author Max Arthur has taken his book Forgotten Voices of the Great War to Northern Ireland.
 
He was invited to speak at the Somme Heritage Centre in County Down by Newtownards Borough Council.
 
Afterwards he told our reporter Fiona Weir why he felt it was important to tell the old soldiers stories as oral histories.
