French Soldiers Train In Cyprus With British Counterparts
A small number of French soldiers are currently in Cyprus undergoing infantry training alongside their British Army counterparts.
 
The eight men and women are members of 40 Signal Regiment based near the Luxembourg border.
 
Their unit is partnered with 2 Signal Regiment who are in Cyprus for the next few weeks taking part in Exercise Lion Sun.
 
They have been learning about British infantry techniques and will be taking part in a number of day and night exercises, all designed to allow the French troops to see how the UK military works.
 
40 Signal Regiment was one of the units sent to Paris after the recent terror attacks and our reporter Simon Newton asked the soldiers about that experience...
