Historic Role For Reservist Major General

Edinburgh Castle has a new governor. Major General Mike Riddell-Webster is the first reservist to hold the role since its formation.
Troops from the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the 3rd and 4th Battalions of the Royal Regiment of Scotland formed the guard for an appointment that dates back to the 12th century.
Ali Gibson was at the installation ceremony.
