Ice Bambi Prepares Soldiers For Antarctic Adventure
Female soldiers have been preparing for a once in a lifetime adventure to the Antarctic.
Exercise Ice Bambi sees 22 women head to Norway to be tested against the elements and then be whittled down to just six.

The chosen women will then attempt a 1700km trek in -80 degree temperatures and 60mph winds over 75 days from Leveratt Glacier to the South Pole and then on to Hercules Inlet.
