The Iron Fist Prepare For Exercise Cambrian Patrol

Soldiers from 20th Armoured Infantry Brigade, or The Iron Fist as they are also known, have been taking part in a patrols competition ahead of the Cambrian Patrol in the Brecon Beacons in the next few weeks.

River Crossings, CBRN Training and patrolling 12 miles with 30kg weight was all part of the 'fun'.

CBRN stands for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear and it's training that they hope they will never have to call upon.

The main event will involve patrolling over 50 miles in less than 48 hours and this preliminary competition gives them a little taste of what to expect.
