Last German Training Mission For Royal Scots Dragoon Guards

The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are on a final two-week exercise on the ranges of Sennelager in Germany ahead of their move back to Scotland this summer. 
 
The regiment have recently re-rolled on to the Jackal vehicle and have been testing their new skills.
 
After 75 years of being an armoured regiment The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards finally bid farewell to the Challenger 2 tanks and welcomed in the Jackal Armoured Vehicle.
 
 
The Jackal is used for reconnaissance, rapid assault, fire support and convoy protection. Jackal 2 has the capacity to support itself and its crew of three for more than 800km.
 
It has a maximum speed of 80mph (129km/h) on roads or 55mph (89km/h) over rough terrain.
