Lt Gen Lorimer Positive About Future of Afghanistan

 The highest ranking British Officer in Afghanistan has paid a visit to troops in Helmand Province.

Deputy Commander ISAF, Lt Gen John Lorimer, spent the day with various units in Camp Bastion.

Speaking to Forces News, he said there are still decisions to be made about Britain’s ongoing commitment to the country.

But he said he’s positive about the future as the Afghans take charge of their own security.
