Medics Train For The Future In Gibraltar

Reservists from 204 and 243 Field Hospitals, are undergoing an intensive two week training package in Gibraltar and for the first time, it is their military rather than their medical skills which are being put to the test.

For more than a decade they have had their clinical expertise tested on the wards of the world's leading trauma centre in Camp Bastion.

But now as Operations in Afghanistan draw to a close they are preparing to meet the challenges of the new adaptable force under the terms of Army 2020 which will see them closer to the front line in the future.
