More Powers Planned for Services Complaints Commission

The Armed Forces (Service Complaints and Financial Assistance) Bill aims to improve the system of dealing with complaints and bullying in the armed forces.

Under its provisions, an independent ombudsman will replace the current complaints commissioner and a new system will be put in place to deal with complaints more efficiently.
