Queens Royal Lancers Mark End of an Era

It's one of the best known cavalry regiments in the British Army - but in a few weeks time, the Queens Royal Lancers, based in Catterick, will be no more.

The QRL is amalgamating with another regiment - and to mark the end of an era, a group of soldiers is embarking on a 700 mile bike ride.

On the journey they'll visit the graves of 13 men who died serving for the regiment - as well as raising money for a military charity.
