Regiment Commemorates 1845 Battle Of Ferozeshah
Over 300 soldiers from the 1st Battalion the Mercian Regiment have come together for a special ceremony to commemorate the 1845 Battle Of Ferozeshah.
It was an important campaign, widely regarded as one of the hardest-fought in the history of the British Army.
The event forms part of the unit's combined commemorations in the wake of its merger with sister units as part of the Army 2020 plans.
