Royal Regiment Of Scotland March To Celebrate Huge Honour

The freedom of the Highlands has been granted to the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
 
More than 180 soldiers from The Black Watch 3rd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, The Highlanders, 4th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland and 51st Highland, 7th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland paraded through Inverness on their way to a special service which was held to grant them the honour.

All three regiments have soldiers serving with them from the Highlands and Islands, who feel an immense sense of pride to see the public support.
 
Freedom Parades will also take place in Wick, Dingwall and Fort William today.
