Soldiers Tackle Extreme Temperatures In Germany

Soldiers and Officers of 5th Battalion the Rifles (5 RIFLES) are on a three week exercise on the ranges of Germany.

The purpose is to prepare them for their deployment to Canada in two months time where they will be one of many regiments training to be ready to deploy anywhere in the world at short notice.

With temperatures reaching minus 12, it has been challenging so far.

The regiment will be moving back to Bulford in the UK next year after a long history in Germany.
