Soldiers Take On Gruelling Exercise Cambrian Patrol

More than 100 infantry teams from across the world have descended on mid Wales for one of the British Army’s toughest exercises.
 
It sees patrols crossing the Black Mountains in Wales in a mock operation lasting two days and nights.

126 teams, regulars and reservists cover 50 miles dealing with challenges including an unaided river crossing and treacherous descents in the Black Mountains.
 
They also have to help civilian casualties, while extracting useful information.
