The Tip Of NATO's Spear
20th Armoured Infantry Brigade are about to take over the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF).
Commanding officer Brigadier Mike Elviss says his unit will be NATO's spearhead, because the organisation doesn't have another task force like it.
The VJTF would be the first unit to deploy in the event of an escalation.
The brigadier says the battle skills his unit will be practising are the same as eight years ago, and that it is simply a case of going through them again.
